Triathletes spend time training in three disciplines - swimming, biking and running. Learning how to swim fast by reducing drag forces and eliminating sloppy mechanics is essential. Luckily, the science of swimming fast with less effort is a Total Immersion specialty. With OnPoint Fitness you will learn the amazing energy savings of taking relaxed and body-coordinated strokes throughout your swim at every speed. Since energy efficiency is a key factor in all endurance sports, OnPoint Fitness will teach you through ChiRunning how to run energy efficiently. As a result you will be able to use a stronger kick during the swim, increase your cadence and speed on the bike, and still finish the race strong.

Week 1: Introdcution to ChiRunning, Posture, Back balance, Sweet Spot, Skate

Week 2: Lean & Lift, Under Skate, Switch

Week 3: Armswing & Gars, Zipper

Week 4: Cadence & Pelvic Rotation, Breathing

Week 5: Hills, Propulsion (kick)

Week 6: Tune-up, Practice

Sprint Program

400 meter Swim | 12 mile Bile | 3.1 mile Rum

This program is designed for the exercise enthusiast looking for a new challenge. No experience necessary and no special bike is needed. If you can currently swim 1 lap in a pool(any stroke or combination of strokes), bike for 20 minutes, and walk/jog 1 mile, we can get you ready for this race.

Olympic Training Program $425

(1.5k Swim * 40k Bike * 10k Run)

No race experience is necessary, but prior to the first training session, you should be able to complete the sprint distances over separate workouts. If you have completed the sprint distance before, this clinic will also improve speed and technique.

Half Ironman Training Program $ 425

(1.2mile Swim * 56 mile Bike * 13.1 mile Run)

So, you've caught the triathlon bug and want to increase the challenge? If you have already completed an Olympic distance race, this may be just the challenge for you. This program is formatted to prepare you for either a late summer to early fall Half Ironman Race.
