ChiWalking LogoThe ChiWalking program is an entirely new approach to creating health, fitness and well-being through the activity of walking. ChiWalking blends walking with the inner focuses of T'ai Chi, the ancient Chinese martial art that has gained much notoriety in this country for creating balance, strength, and improved cognition.  Moderate exercise, such as walking, has improved the health and longevity of millions of people. Lloyd teachingThe Five Mindful Steps take you through an entire health and fitness program that will leave you energized, and looking forward to each walk.  The ChiWalking Form emphasizes proper biomechanics of walking, based on principles of T'ai Chi, including:  good  posture, loose joints, engaging one's core muscles, and relaxing the peripheral muscles of the arms and legs. This approach makes walking easier on the body and helps improve and eliminate the aches, pains and discomfort of walking incorrectly. Since walking is such a basic, every day movement, when your walking form is improved, the benefits are far reaching.
